The research program is based on an extensive laboratory study aimed at developing high-performance bituminous mixtures with high environmental compatibility through the use of next-generation additives. The following tests are planned: rheometric and conventional tests on neat binders and additivated binders; compositional, volumetric and performance tests on bituminous mixtures produced with virgin aggregates (natural and/or artificial) and/or recycled aggregates, as well as with neat bitumen or additivated bitumen.
