Economic Analysis of the Digitalisation of the Agricultural System: Policies, Organisational Models, Decision-Making, and Contributions to the Ecological Transition and a Sustainable Bioeconomy

The activities envisaged under this research assignment are structured around three interconnected lines of inquiry: • Analysis of the factors driving the adoption of new digital technologies in agriculture, their patterns of use, and their impact on decision-making processes and organisational arrangements; • Farmers’ and other stakeholders’ perceptions of policies designed to encourage the adoption of smart farming practices; • Economic impact assessment and policy design. These objectives will be addressed primarily using secondary data generated within Task 3.3.3 of the Agritech project. The data will be analysed using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
