M/F/NB/+ Postdoctoral Position in Isotope Geochemistry and Archaeology

As part of the ANR CROC project (“Delving Deep into Dog-Human Interactions: Revealing Dogs' Adaptations to the Agropastoral Lifestyle through Paleogenomics, Functional Morphology, and Geochemistry”), led by Morgane Ollivier (University of Rennes 1), we are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to study the impact of the advent of agriculture in Europe on the diet of dogs through: • Isotopic analysis of amino acids (CSIA). • Analysis of zinc (Zn) isotope ratios in dental enamel. The research will draw on samples from prehistoric dogs and associated fauna recovered from archaeological sites in France and Romania.
