The Faculty of Economics and Management of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg in cooperation with the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) seeks to fill two positions at the rank of Assistant Professor (W1) in Financial Economics. We look for candidates with strong teaching and broadly defined research profiles in Financial Economics that bear the potential for academic excellence. A focus on Labor and Finance , Financial Intermediation, or Corporate Finance is particularly useful. Applicants are expected to employ rigorous quantitative methods and state-of-the-art empirical approaches.
