The PhD candidate will work within the “Molecular Hematology – Blood Signals” team, under the supervision of Dr Eirini Trompouki, at the Institute for Research on Cancer and Aging of Nice (IRCAN). IRCAN is a multidisciplinary research institute located at the heart of the Pasteur University Hospital campus in Nice. Research at IRCAN aims to understand the biological mechanisms linking aging to age-related diseases, particularly cancer. Particular emphasis is placed on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of aging, stress responses, inflammation, epigenetics, and the cellular microenvironment. The “Molecular Hematology – Blood Signals” team investigates the molecular mechanisms controlling the development, maintenance, regeneration, and aging of the hematopoietic system, with a particular
