Student route basics

A Student visa normally needs a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed sponsor, plus proof of funds and English language evidence as stated for that route. Scholarships may cover fees — they do not replace the visa checklist.

Work and sponsorship

Most skilled work routes need a licensed sponsor. If a vacancy does not mention sponsorship, treat that as unclear — not as an offer. Remote roles rarely equal a UK right to work.
