Editorial and verification methodology
Listings are meant to help you decide whether to open the official page — not to replace it. Facts come from provider and government sources. When something is unclear, we leave it out rather than guessing.
Sources
Prefer official programme sites, national scholarship portals, university pages, and recognised research boards (for example EURAXESS). Aggregators are used only for discovery, not as the published source of truth.
What we record
- Canonical source URL and apply URL when they differ.
- Deadline, funding, and eligibility only when stated on the source.
- When the listing was last checked.
Words we keep separate
- Not stated — the source does not say. That is not the same as “open to everyone” or “free”.
- Closed / archived — the cycle has ended; we may keep requirements readable for the next round.
- Unverified — we have not confirmed that detail on the current source text.
Corrections
If a deadline, eligibility rule, or link looks wrong, use Contact or Submit an opportunity with the official URL. We update or remove listings when the source changes.
