The Europäisches Bildungswerk für Beruf und Gesellschaft (EBG), a non-profit training provider in Magdeburg, recruits nursing trainees from outside Germany for its dual nursing Ausbildung. Training starts on 1 August each year. Applicants with a B1 German certificate apply by 30 November 2026 for August 2027 and first take a six-month language course in Germany. Applicants with B2 apply by 31 March 2027.
Who can apply
Nationality
EBG recruits nursing trainees from EU and non-EU countries; its August 2026 intake came from Vietnam and Indonesia. No nationality is excluded, so a Tunisian with the baccalauréat can apply.
German
German at B2. Applicants with B1 can also apply, but must first complete a language course of about six months at EBG in Germany.
School and age
A completed school-leaving certificate (Abitur) from the home country, such as the Tunisian baccalauréat, and some prior knowledge of care. Minimum age 18.
Health and record
A health certificate no older than three months and a police record with no entries.
