Entrants must be enrolled at a regular university in a graduate or postgraduate programme at master's level or higher as of 1 February 2027. Bachelor's students are not eligible unless the university confirms that the current year equals international graduate level.

Leaders of Tomorrow (the top 100) have travel, board and lodging covered. Participation is free. Three ideas share CHF 20,000. Pocket money of CHF 100–200 is recommended and is not covered. Some meals may be uncovered depending on travel times.
