Clinical Researcher (Peripheral Nervous System Unit)

The Peripheral Nervous System Unit focuses on two main areas of research. First, we develop and validate biomarkers for different neuromuscular diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), myasthenia, neuropathies and myopathies. Second, we work on the implementation of new genetic tests for the diagnosis of rare diseases, contributing to the development of more accurate and innovative diagnostic approaches. In addition, the unit participates in clinical trials across these disease areas, providing opportunities to translate research findings into clinical practice.
