The primary objective is to identify novel epigenetic signatures associated with disease progression and response to oncological treatments, with a particular focus on the molecular mechanisms influencing prognosis and therapeutic sensitivity. Using an integrated approach based on next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, the study will investigate the epigenetic and transcriptomic mechanisms characterizing primary and metastatic gastric cancer, correlating molecular data with patient clinical parameters. The expected results will contribute to the identification of prognostic and predictive biomarkers and may lay the foundation for new targeted therapeutic strategies, advancing precision medicine and personalized treatment for gastric cancer.
