INCARICO DI RICERCA - PHYS-02/A - Quantum-Gravity Interplay: Models, Dynamics and Experimental Signatures
EURAXESS hosting organisation · Multiple European countries
The research activity will investigate the interplay between quantum mechanics and gravity in the low-energy regime, with particular emphasis on theoretical and phenomenological models in which gravity is described as a quantum, semiclassical, or classical–quantum interaction. The work will address gravitational modifications of quantum dynamics, including Schrödinger–Newton-type models, gravity-related collapse mechanisms, hybrid classical–quantum theories, and stochastic or diffusive effects induced by the coupling between gravity and quantum matter. Particular attention will be devoted to identifying experimentally accessible signatures capable of discriminating among competing descriptions of gravity and assessing their testability with current and near-future precision experiments.
