Who can apply · Master's graduates of any nationality who want a paid PhD combining work in a company or other employer in France with research in a French academic lab. Tunisians are eligible under ANRT's any-nationality rule but must find an employer and a lab and get authorisation to work in France.

At least 27,600 EUR gross a year (2026 minimum) · The employer pays a salary of at least 27,600 euros gross a year (2026 rate) on a permanent or 36-month contract. ANRT pays the employer a subsidy of 14,000 euros a year for three years; the employer may also claim the research tax credit.

Deadline · No fixed deadline — ANRT accepts Cifre requests all year round; its committee meets monthly and decides within three months of a complete file
