Who can apply · Graduates in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science or engineering who want a funded PhD in molecular life sciences at an EMBL site. Tunisians can apply, but EMBL gives priority to equally qualified member-state applicants and Tunisia is not a member state.
Stipend (amount not published) with health care and pension · EMBL says the predoctoral stipend is competitive by international standards and offers broad benefits including health care and pension. Fellowships run 3.5 years at first, with a possible six-month extension. The amount is not published on the programme pages.
