Who can apply · Students and recent graduates aged 21 to 30 who are nationals of an FAO Member (Tunisia is covered) and work in at least one FAO language, which can be Arabic or French. FAO says interns are preferably placed in their own country or country of residence.

Up to US$700 a month, paid in local currency · Interns who are not sponsored receive a monthly stipend in local currency of no more than US$700; sponsored interns are paid by their sponsoring institution. FAO pays the full premium for service-incurred medical coverage. Accommodation and insurance for illness or injury not related to service are the intern's responsibility.
