The International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation runs a Student Exchange Programme that places pharmacy students and recent graduates in internships in more than 80 countries, usually for two weeks to three months. IPSF lists ATEP as the Tunisian member association that takes part. Applications go through the home association, which sets its own deadlines; the fee starts at 42 euros.
Who can apply
Country
IPSF's SEP country list names ATEP as the Tunisian member association, so pharmacy students in Tunisia apply through ATEP. Students whose association is not an IPSF member can apply as individual members.
Studies
Applicants must be studying for their first pharmacy degree or have graduated from it no more than four years earlier.
Membership
Applicants must be IPSF members, through a member organisation such as ATEP or as individual members. A student can take part once per SEP year, from October to September.
Funding and what it does not cover
SEP arranges a pharmacy internship abroad. The host may also offer room, board or pocket money. Participants pay at least 42 euros to their home association (24 euros to IPSF, 18 euros to the host association). An SEP grant pays part of the travel and the SEP fee for some placed students in financial need.
