Wallonie-Bruxelles International funds postdoctoral stays at universities and colleges of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation for researchers from any country with a doctorate obtained abroad: 2,120 euros a month net, return travel and insurance. Next deadlines: 1 October 2026 (short stays) and 1 February 2027 (long stays).

Funding and what it does not cover

A net monthly grant of 2,120 euros (a mobility allowance, not a salary), return economy-class travel from home to the host city, and health, civil liability and repatriation insurance.
