In short

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) takes interns all year round at its Geneva headquarters and in its country offices. Internships last two to six months, nine at most. Most interns receive a monthly subsistence allowance. IOM sets no nationality condition, so Tunisians can apply.

Who can apply

Nationality
IOM sets no nationality condition for its internships, so a Tunisian can apply to headquarters or to any country office.
Studies
Final year of a bachelor's degree, enrolled in a graduate programme, or graduated and able to start within one year of graduation. An internship sponsored by a government, NGO or university also qualifies.
Age and language
Aged 19 to 36, with a working knowledge of English, French or Spanish, spoken and written.

Funding and what it does not cover

  • A monthly subsistence allowance for most interns
  • Cover for occupational accidents and illness under IOM's compensation plan

You pay
