Who can apply
Criteria stated by the funder on the official source.
Education
Enrolled in a graduate programme, enrolled in the final year of a first university degree, or graduated and able to start within one year of graduation.
StatedDuration
Normally no less than six weeks and no more than six months, full-time or part-time.
StatedFamily relationship
A child or sibling of a UNDP staff member is not eligible for a UNDP internship.
StatedLanguage
Set in each vacancy; the vacancies read asked for English, sometimes with French or Spanish as an asset.
StatedFunding and what it does not cover
Interns without outside funding receive a monthly stipend for basic daily costs such as meals and local transport; the rate depends on the duty station and is prorated for part-time or remote internships. If a sponsor pays, UNDP pays only the difference, if any.
