Who can apply · Tunisians (and residents of Tunisia) with a degree or at least two years of state-recognised vocational training who want to move to Germany to look for a job, and can fund themselves for up to a year.

No funding — you must show 1,091 EUR a month; visa fee 75 EUR · The Opportunity Card is a residence permit, not a grant. Applicants must show they can cover their living costs (1,091 euros a month in the July 2025 checklist) and pay a 75-euro visa fee in dinars. They may earn money from trial work or a side job of up to 20 hours a week.

Deadline · Rolling — no deadline. Apply any time online through the Auslandsportal; the embassy says processing can take up to three months.
