Engineering or architecture students who have completed three years of study after the baccalaureate, or students on a technical or scientific master's degree or thesis. First-year engineering and second-year architecture students can register but only earn points for the following year.

Funding and what it does not cover

All IAESTE internships are paid, with the amount set per offer (listings show, for example, 2,350 EUR a month in Austria and 15,000 KES a month in Kenya). IAESTE normally helps arrange accommodation and runs a social programme. Students must buy their own insurance.
