Places are for EU nationals; the rules allow a very limited number for nationals of other countries, in particular EU candidate countries, so chances for Tunisians are small. Who can apply
Criteria stated by the funder on the official source.
Nationality
Candidates must be EU nationals; the Parliament can offer a limited number of traineeships to nationals of other countries, in particular candidate countries. The application site says 'a very limited number'. Tunisia is not named.
StatedEducation
A full university degree (EQF level 6) obtained at the latest three months before the start of the traineeship; the vocational track (EQF 3–5) only covers qualifications obtained in the EU.
StatedLanguage
Citizens of non-Member States applying for a degree-level traineeship need a very good knowledge of English, French or German.
StatedAge
Aged 18 or over on the traineeship start date.
StatedPrevious EU experience
No more than two months of previous traineeship or work in an EU institution, body or agency.
StatedFunding and what it does not cover
A monthly grant set by the Parliament. The grant table in force from April 2025 gives 1,667 euros a month in Belgium, with weighted amounts for other duty stations. Trainees with disabilities may receive an extra allowance.
