Italy's 2026–2028 flows decree sets yearly quotas for workers hired from abroad. Tunisia is named among 38 cooperation countries sharing 25,000 non-seasonal places a year, and its citizens can fill seasonal farm and tourism quotas. An Italian employer must request the permit (nulla osta); 2027 windows open on 12 Jan, 9 Feb and 16 Feb.

Nationality
Article 6(2)(a) of the DPCM of 2 October 2025 names Tunisia among 38 countries whose citizens share 25,000 non-seasonal places a year; article 7 opens the seasonal quotas to the same countries.
StatedResidence
The quotas are for foreign citizens resident abroad when the employer applies.
StatedEmployer
An employer in Italy must request the nulla osta, after checking with the competent job centre that no worker already in Italy is available.
StatedSectors
Non-seasonal places cover sectors including agriculture, food, textiles, metalworking, construction, trade, hotels and restaurants, tourism, transport and logistics, and health and social care; seasonal places cover agriculture and tourism.
StatedFunding and what it does not cover
The decree sets entry quotas, not pay. Workers are hired under an Italian employment contract; wages and working conditions are not set in the decree.
