Article 8.1 of the call states that foreign students, stateless students and refugees may compete for the benefits. Tunisia is not named and is not on the call's list of developing countries.

ISEE up to €27,000 and ISPE up to €60,000. Non-EU students send 2026-issued documents on family status, 2025 income and assets at 31 December 2025, translated into Italian and legalised by Italian diplomatic authorities or apostilled.

Open to students enrolled or intending to enrol in bachelor's, master's, single-cycle, specialisation or PhD courses at Tuscan universities, for a first qualification at each level.

Funding and what it does not cover
Out-of-town winners receive €3,338, €2,262 or €1,060 in cash depending on ISEE band, plus a free housing place in DSU residences and two free meals a day. If no place is available, a €3,150 rent contribution can be requested. Female STEM students receive more.
