In short

Tampere University in Finland awards a small number of scholarships covering 50% of tuition to fee-paying students admitted in 2027. You request it in your admission application. The master's round runs from 14 December 2026 to 7 January 2027 (23:59, Finnish time); the bachelor's round from 7 to 21 January 2027 (15:00).

Who can apply

Nationality
Fee-paying students: citizens of countries outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland in English-taught programmes. Tunisian citizens pay tuition in Finland and can request the scholarship.
How to apply
Request the scholarship in the admission application on Studyinfo.fi during the admission period. It is not available for open university or transfer applications.
Selection
Highly selective: nine scholarships were awarded across all bachelor's and master's programmes in 2026 admission, and not every programme awards one.

Funding and what it does not cover

The scholarship covers 50% of tuition for the duration of the programme. The 2027 fee is 12,000 euros a year for master's and 10,000 euros a year for bachelor's programmes, so the scholarship is worth 5,000 to 6,000 euros a year.

Covered

  • 50% of the tuition fee for the duration of the programme

You pay

  • The other 50% of tuition
  • Living costs
