French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII)

Who can apply · Tunisians aged 18 to 35 with a vocational or higher-education diploma and/or work experience who have, or are looking for, a job offer in France in their field. The agreement is specific to Tunisia and France.

Salary from the French employer (amount not stated) · The young professional is an employee paid a salary in line with the profession, qualification and experience, with the same benefits as other staff and social-security cover. Travel and housing are paid by the young professional; the employer pays OFII's flat fee.

Deadline · Rolling — no deadline; the employer files whenever it hires. The 2008 agreement plans for 1,500 young professionals a year.

Who can apply · Tunisians living in Tunisia who want seasonal work in France (farming, food industry, hotels, tourism) for up to six months a year with a French employer. The card is specific to the France–Tunisia agreement.

Wages under a French seasonal contract (amount not stated) · Seasonal workers are paid under a French seasonal contract, with the same rights and social protection as French seasonal workers. Tunisia's Ministry of Employment says OFII pays a one-way flight; the employer pays OFII 50 euros per month of work.

Deadline · Rolling — no deadline. Employers recruit ahead of each season; the contract must last between three and six months.
