Campus France Tunisia calendar 2026/2027: key dates for the 2027 intake

If you searched for the "Campus France Tunisia calendar", you are most likely aiming for a September 2027 start in France. Campus France Tunisie has published its 2026/2027 procedures calendar, which covers the 2027/2028 academic year. The dates below come from that official document, checked on 23 October 2026.

  • From 1 October 2026: applications open on the "Études en France" platform, for both the DAP and Hors-DAP routes.
  • 11 December 2026: last day to submit the file and pay the fee on the DAP route (first-year Licence, L.AS / PASS, national schools of architecture).
  • 18 December 2026: last day to submit and pay on the Hors-DAP route (BUT, Licence 2, Licence 3 and professional Licence, Master 1 and 2, engineering schools, business schools).
  • Until 15 March 2027: interviews at a Campus France office.
  • Until 30 April 2027: answers from institutions, shown in your online file.
  • By 31 May 2027 at the latest: final choice among the offers you received.

As of 23 October 2026, the campaign is therefore open. Campus France may adjust dates, so check the calendar page again before each important step.

Who has to go through Campus France Tunisia, and on which route?

Campus France Tunisie states that the "Études en France" procedure is compulsory for every Tunisian applicant, and for foreign nationals living in Tunisia, who want to pursue higher education in France. Tunisian eligibility is therefore confirmed by the official source; the real question is which route applies to you.

  • DAP (prior admission request): first-year Licence at a university, L.AS or PASS, and national schools of architecture. You cannot apply directly to these institutions, and a pre-enrolment obtained outside the campaign is not processed.
  • Hors-DAP: BUT, Licence 2, Licence 3, professional Licence, Master, and engineering or business schools that are "connected" to the platform. You apply through Études en France within the calendar deadlines.
  • "Je suis accepté" (pre-consular) route: you secured an admission yourself from a non-connected institution, through Parcoursup (BTS, CPGE, DCG), CampusArt, a doctoral enrolment or a work-study programme. You then complete the Campus France procedure after admission and before the visa.

A "connected" institution has access to the Études en France platform; a "non-connected" one answers you directly, but going through Campus France remains compulsory in both cases. Another common misunderstanding: the French national "Mon Master" platform does not apply to Tunisian applicants or to non-European foreigners living in Tunisia. An offer from a connected institution obtained through "Mon Master" is not accepted.

Steps 1 and 2: plan your project and create your Études en France file

Since 1 October 2026, applications go through the new version of the Études en France platform (etudesenfrance.diplomatie.gouv.fr), rebuilt in 2026. Everything is online until you lodge the file at a Campus France office.

  • Create your account by filling in a personal details form. An activation link arrives by email within 24 hours; check your spam folder.
  • If you already had a Campus France file, reuse the same account: only one file per applicant is allowed.
  • Complete the sections: personal details, education and diplomas, programme basket, language skills, then submission of the file to the Campus France office.
  • The basket holds up to 7 programmes in total, with no more than 3 first-year Licence choices. For architecture schools, an older official FAQ mentions a maximum of 2 choices: to be confirmed for the 2026/2027 campaign.

Campus France Tunisie says it does not know each programme's own requirements. Before validating your basket, visit each institution's website to check the course content, the city, the French level required and whether it is connected or not. If you combine a first-year Licence (DAP) with Hors-DAP programmes, the DAP deadline of 11 December 2026 applies to your whole file.

The French test: plan your TCF, DELF or DALF early

Unless you are exempt, a French language certificate is compulsory in the file. Without a certificate or an exam notice, the file is not admissible.

  • First-year Licence, L.AS, PASS and architecture schools: TCF for the DAP (including the written expression test) or DELF / DALF. The TEF is also accepted for the DAP, with at least 14/20 in written expression and a score of 400 out of 699.
  • All other programmes: TCF Tout public or TCF SO, or DELF / DALF.
  • DELF and DALF never expire; a TCF is valid for 2 years and must still be valid on 15 September 2027 for the current campaign.
  • An exam registration or notice can be attached while you wait for results, if the timeline allows.

Several profiles are exempt, for example holders of DELF B2 or DALF C1/C2, holders of the French baccalauréat, holders of a government or public-body scholarship, and doctoral candidates. An exemption granted by Campus France does not stop an institution from requiring a test anyway. Exams are held in particular at the language centre branches of the Institut français de Tunisie and at the Alliances françaises; places are limited, so book the earliest session you can.

Step 3: submit your file and pay the 400 TND fee

Once your file is submitted online, you confirm the application by paying the processing fee. Campus France Tunisie lists an amount of 400 TND, in force since 1 August 2025 and applicable to the 2026/2027 campaign. Payment is only possible after online submission.

  • Online: on the Institut français de Tunisie payment site (tunisie.extranet-aec.com), following the tutorial published by Campus France.
  • In person: by bank card at your Campus France office, showing your file number in the TNxx-xxxx format. The full amount must go through in a single transaction.
  • Applications and payments by post are no longer accepted, and cheque payment has been suspended since 20 January 2025 until further notice.

Payment must be made before your route's deadline: 11 December 2026 for DAP, 18 December 2026 for Hors-DAP. After those dates, Campus France no longer accepts files. Read the terms of sale before confirming, and keep your proof of payment.

Step 4: prepare for the Campus France interview

After your payment is confirmed, an adviser offers you an interview slot through the messaging tool in your online file. Interviews run until 15 March 2027 according to the calendar. The meeting lasts about 20 minutes: you present your background, your motivation and how your choices fit your career plans. The adviser writes a report that is sent to the institutions and to the Consulate General of France in Tunis.

Arrive half an hour early with:

  • your national ID card or passport;
  • the interview notice printed from your file;
  • your French level certificate (TCF, DELF or DALF);
  • the originals of your transcripts and diplomas, in Arabic and French, with translations by a sworn translator on the official list (from the baccalauréat onwards if you have completed two years of higher education, from the second year of secondary school otherwise);
  • a certificate of attendance for the current year, or your transcript or pass certificate if the year is already completed.

Photocopies and certified copies are not accepted. Arriving late or missing a document cancels the interview, and an applicant who does not show up must pay an extra 100 TND to get a second appointment (amount shown on the page checked on 23 October 2026). Some applicants are exempt from the interview, including applicants who already hold a scholarship from the French or Tunisian government, or from a French or Tunisian public body (being shortlisted is not enough), and students on an exchange programme between a Tunisian and a French public institution.

Steps 5 and 6: answers, final choice and visa application

Institutions post their answers in your online file until 30 April 2027. You must then record your final choice by 31 May 2027 at the latest. This choice cannot be changed afterwards, so compare carefully before you click.

  • Print your prior enrolment agreement (accord préalable d'inscription) from your account.
  • Wait until you have passed your current year, then go in person to the Campus France office with the agreement, all your originals and your latest pass documents to have the agreement endorsed and stamped. This endorsed document is issued only once.
  • Fill in the France-Visas form to get your reference number and give it to the Campus France office, which books your TLScontact appointment. The Campus France procedure ends there.
  • The long-stay student visa (VLS-TS) is decided solely by the Consulate General of France in Tunis. Campus France Tunisie advises allowing 15 to 45 days of processing after lodging at TLScontact, and recommends starting these steps two to three months before your planned start date.

If you ask for a new TLScontact appointment, Campus France lists an extra fee of 100 TND (amount shown on 23 October 2026). Once in France, the VLS-TS must be validated online within three months of arrival.

Our advice for keeping to the calendar without stress

The calendar leaves just over two months between opening and the submission deadline. That is short if your French test, translations and programme choices are not ready. Here is a realistic plan:

  • October: book your French test and list the programmes you like, with their requirements.
  • November: have your documents translated by a sworn translator, fill in the file and write your motivation for each programme.
  • Early December: submit and pay without waiting for the final days, when offices are very busy.
  • Once your payment is confirmed: prepare the interview (it can take place up to 15 March 2027) so you can explain each choice in a few clear sentences.

For practical questions, the Campus France Tunis office (20-22 avenue de Paris) receives visitors without an appointment Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 10:30, in the afternoon from 13:30 to 15:30 Monday to Thursday and from 13:30 to 14:30 on Friday, with shorter hours in summer and during Ramadan. Only one person per file is admitted there, except for minors, who must be accompanied by a guardian. There are also offices in Sousse and Sfax.

Opporiva is a free service that helps you find your way: we never submit applications on your behalf and cannot guarantee an admission or a visa. In parallel, browse our scholarship pages for France to plan how you will fund your studies.
