Funding and what it does not cover
For the MOFCOM Scholarship-CSC Program, the 2026 guide lists exemption from tuition and related fees, free on-campus housing, a stipend of RMB 36,000 a year for master's or RMB 42,000 for PhD students (paid monthly), a one-off RMB 3,000 settling-in payment, medical insurance, one round-trip international flight, and a yearly home-visit flight for longer programmes.
