Country
Graduates from developing and emerging countries on the DAC list published with the call; Tunisia is on that list. Applicants who spent more than the past 15 months in a non-DAC country are not eligible.

Well-qualified first degree (bachelor or equivalent) with above-average grades (upper third) in social and political sciences, law, economics, public policy or administration; last degree issued on or after 1 January 2020 for the 2027 call.

Courses are taught in English; proof of English skills is required and the exact certificates vary by master's course.

Funding and what it does not cover
Monthly scholarship of currently EUR 992, health insurance, fixed travel allowances, a study and research grant, rent subsidies and family supplements where applicable, and a mandatory German course of up to 4 months. DAAD scholarship holders are exempt from tuition fees.
